Once you become certified, you can legally practice as a KeyRe Therapist. You may not call yourself a "Massage Therapist" as this is a protected term. Because the program is internationally accredited, you hold a recognized credential that qualifies you for professional liability insurance. This allows you to open your own practice and charge for your services legally without requiring a state massage license, provided you stay within the specific scope of practice and terminology we provide during the training.
We are currently in the process of unlocking CEUs for healthcare professionals, specifically massage therapists, nurses, and physiotherapists. This is a high priority for nurses and licensed massage therapists who are required to renew their licenses every two years. Yes. The Level 1 Certification is a 90-to-180-day online pathway designed to deepen your craft, expand your modalities, and build a sustainable, soul-aligned practice. Level 2 is an in-person immersion that builds upon the foundations laid in Level 1.
The core curriculum is a 12-week (90-day) guided program. Most students find that dedicated time each week for the course modules, clinical practice hours, and our weekly mentorship calls allows them to complete the certification while managing other life commitments. It is recommended to have a minimum of 12 hours a week, especially if you have no background.
The program is designed for current practitioners who want to deepen their craft and expand their modalities. Most students are licensed massage therapists, nurses, bodyworkers, energy workers, and breathwork facilitators. If you're earlier in your healing journey and you feel a serious calling, we'll consider it on a case-by-case basis. Please mention your background and intention in the application.
